Three ski tourers killed by avalanche in North Belledonne
Three ski tourers have been killed by an avalanche in the North Belledonne close to Chambery. The skiers were heading for Le Chapotet in the commune of Presle. It is the most serious avalanche accident in France this season.

Monday World Cup Alpine and Freestyle Wrap-Up
The World Cup alpine women racers were in St. Moritz, Switzerland for a weekend of speed competition and Lindsey Vonn came within .03 seconds of sweeping all the gold.
Vonn started off with a Super Combined win on Friday with Tina Maze of Slovenia and Austria's Nicole Hosp third. Also for the U.S., Julia Mancuso - 13th, Leanne Smith - 18th and Laurenne Ross - 20th.
